Fuengirola to Mijas Loop

Starting at Fuengirola Castle down by the beach, we follow the River inland to Mijas Golf where we follow the outskirts of Fuengirola on undulating dirt roads, climbing our way up through rural Mijas with is orchards and small holdings. At the end of the climb, we pop out at the Ermita de San Anton, a beautiful little church with a stunning mirador. We then go into Mijas to give you a chance to get some iconic photographs in this stunning white village followed by a quick sandwich lunch in a traditional Spanish venta. Leaving Mijas behind, we follow the road West, out of the village and towards the "Ebike Playground" in Valtocado. We will descend on dustry and dry trails, back down to the river valley to the castle with an alternative for an extra hill or two for those who'd like to spend a bit more energy (or battery!). Time to relax on the beach!
